The emphasis is not on�new drugs�or medical procedures, but on personal attitudes and useful spiritual procedures one can adopt to treat the illness, and oneself, from within. In an age that teaches an almost blind reliance on science and medicines, Ms. Lando's views on the healing power of one's own soul are a sorely needed breath of fresh air

Shulamit Lando, an MS survivor, is an accomplished Body Mind Psychotherapist, Bereavement Councilor, Trauma specialist and a Medical Coach. She has been counseling those with chronic and terminal illness for more than 30 years. She has led many support groups for people living with chronic and life threatening illnesses like Cancer, MS and HIV-AIDS in Israel and in Mexico. Besides her private practice she currently volunteers at The Yuri Shtern Holistic Center for Cancer Patients in Jerusalem. A Gem of a Book
By One Who Has Been There
This is a wonderful book. It is a personal story filled with thought provoking insights that Lando shares with her reader. In addition, Lando suggests various helpful and practical ways to move through and forward in difficult situations. This book is not just for those dealing with illnesses, it is important reading for anyone facing any challenge. After reading the book I bought another three copies to send to friends and family.
